Gin Chao

Gin Chao is Founder of NoLimit Holdings, which recently launched its first investment fund CVP NoLimit Fund, and is a board member of Binance US. He joined Binance.com in 2018 as Strategy Officer where he led the Binance Labs venture investment, Binance Launchpad initial exchange offering, and Binance X fellowship fund teams before stepping down in March 2022.

Gin has over 25 years of business experience in the fields of management consulting, investment banking, private equity, strategic planning and corporate development. Prior to Binance, he spent 10 years in Shanghai and Beijing as Vice President of Corporate Development; Data Strategy for NBA China, Corporate Development Director for Dell Asia-Pacific Japan and Head of Corporate Development for Hi-P International, an SGX-listed technology manufacturing company. Before China, he worked in San Francisco and New York as Vice President of Acquisitions for Sovereign Investment Company, a real estate private equity firm, New Ventures Manager for The Marcus & Millichamp Company, and Corporate Development Associate for Deutsche Bank's Internet investment banking group, where he raised over $2 billion in private and public capital for Web 1.0 companies.

Gin began his career in the management consulting divisions of Markowitz & McNaughton and Price Waterhouse in Washington DC. He received a BS in Mechanical Engineering from Carnegie Mellon University and an MBA in Finance from New York University's Stern School of Business.
